Construction Debris Removal in Gilbert, AZ

Construction debris removal is the part of a remodel nobody budgets time for. The cabinets are off the wall, the tile is up, the old carpet is rolled in the hallway, and the pile in the driveway is getting taller. Double Eagle Junk Removal is a Gilbert company with a truck and a trailer, and we load that pile, haul it away and sweep up the spot where it sat. Homeowners can call, and so can contractors who would rather spend the day framing than driving to a disposal site.

Why Remodel Debris Is Harder Than It Looks

Construction waste doesn't behave like household junk. Drywall comes off in heavy sheets and breaks into sharp chunks that shed dust everywhere. Tile and thinset weigh far more than a bag should. Cabinets are awkward to carry and full of staples and screws. A pile of old lumber looks light until you try to lift an armful. And all of it lands on a Valley driveway where the concrete radiates heat, the HOA has opinions about piles at the curb, and a 110 degree afternoon makes every trip to the truck feel longer.

Doing it yourself means loading a pickup again and again. A trailer takes the whole thing in one organized pass. We use space in the trailer to measure your price, so a bathroom tear-out and a full kitchen are priced for what they actually are.

How We Handle the Job

Call or send the form and tell us what came out and where it's sitting. We look at the pile or the room, and you get a free estimate. Weight, how far the carry is, stairs, and what the material needs at disposal all play into the price, and you hear it before we start.

Then we load. We carry from the driveway, the garage, the backyard or the house itself, down the side gate and across gravel if that's the route. You don't need to bag or stack anything. When the trailer is loaded, we sweep the area where the pile sat.

Light Demolition Before the Real Work Starts

Light demolition is the small stuff that has to go before a remodel can begin: a run of old cabinets, a built-in bookcase, a vanity, a laminate countertop, a closet shelf, a half wall of drywall. We pull it apart and haul what comes out. Anything structural belongs to a contractor, and anything that's wired or plumbed needs to be disconnected by the right trade before we start. We take it from there.

Carpet and Flooring Removal

Carpet removal sounds light, but carpet is deceptively heavy once it's cut and rolled, with the pad underneath and the tack strip still nailed to the slab. We take out the carpet and pad, the tile and laminate, the old plank flooring and the scraps from the install. Arizona homes lean on tile in the main rooms and carpet in the bedrooms, which means a whole-house floor change produces both kinds of debris at once.

If the flooring is still down, tell us when you call. Taking it up falls under light demolition and we can price it as part of the job.

Concrete and Dirt Removal

Concrete and dirt are the heaviest things we haul, so they're priced by weight and by the space they take. Think of a busted patio slab, old pavers, a ruined walkway, the footings from a fence, or the dirt that came out of a pool dig or a backyard regrade. Gravel yards that are being redone create their own pile too.

Concrete is easiest when it's already in pieces a person can lift. If it isn't, say so when you call and we'll talk through what makes sense. We load heavy material to suit what the trailer can carry, which sometimes means more than one trip.

Shed and Playset Removal

An old shed in the backyard, a rotting swing set, a plastic playhouse the kids outgrew: these come down and go away with us. Most backyards in Gilbert, Mesa and Chandler are reached through a narrow side gate, so measure the gate and tell us what the pieces look like. A wooden shed gets taken apart into panels. A metal one comes down in sheets. A playset gets unbolted and carried out in sections.

Deck and Fence Removal

Deck boards are the easy part. The framing is the heavy part, and posts set in concrete are heavier still. Fences are similar: wood panels, rails and posts with a block of concrete stuck to the bottom. We haul the lot, from the deck and fence line to the loose boards stacked behind the garage. If you're replacing a fence, we can haul the old one away so your contractor starts with a clear line.

Mobile Home and Trailer Removal

This one gets a short answer because every case is different. We haul a mobile home or trailer once it's down, and we can take apart a small one. Tell us what you have, where it sits and what shape it's in, and we'll tell you whether it's a job for us.

Where It All Ends Up

A lot of construction debris isn't donatable. Metal is separated and recycled. Cabinets, fixtures and doors in good enough shape can go to donation or resale when their condition allows. The rest of it, drywall, tile, wood, concrete and dirt, goes to licensed disposal facilities.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. Leave it in a pile in the driveway, the garage or the yard and we load it. We just need a clear route to it.

Both. Homeowners calling after a DIY tear-out and contractors who need a job site cleared are handled the same way: free estimate, price up front, then we load.

It's far heavier than its size suggests. Weight and trailer space both go into the quote, and we tell you the number before any work begins.

Same-day or next-day pickup is possible when the schedule allows, and a call in the morning gives you the best chance.
