We're based in Gilbert, and we come out to Phoenix for junk removal of every size, from one dead recliner to a rental that needs emptying top to bottom. Phoenix spreads across 518 square miles, so booking a day or two ahead helps us plan the trip. We give you the price before anything moves, and we do all the carrying.
Phoenix Bulk Trash Now Runs by Appointment
Phoenix collects bulk trash by appointment only. You can book up to four a year, at least three business days out. On the day, your pile has to be within 5 feet of the curb by 5:30 in the morning, and it can't be bigger than 10 cubic yards. It's one pile per household, so you and the neighbors can't combine into one big heap.
The city also blocks appointments around the holidays: Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day, plus the seven days after each one. That's a stretch when plenty of people are clearing a spare room for guests or hauling off what the new furniture replaced. If your pile can't wait for the calendar to open back up, give us a call.
What a Phoenix Bulk Pile Can't Include
The city's list of what stays out of the pile is long. Refrigerators, freezers and AC units are out, since they hold refrigerant. So are glass, bricks, concrete, dirt and roofing, more than two wooden pallets, construction pieces heavier than 25 pounds or longer than 4 feet, and tree trunks over 4 feet long.
Most of that is ordinary work for us. A fridge or a chest freezer goes through appliance removal, and it heads to a facility that captures the refrigerant. Drywall, tile, broken concrete and old cabinets from a remodel are construction debris removal. The trunk sections left after a tree comes down go with yard waste removal, as long as the tree is already cut. Heavy loads like concrete and dirt cost more to haul, and we tell you how much before we load.
The Free Monthly Ton at Phoenix Transfer Stations
Phoenix runs two transfer stations, and residential solid-waste customers can drop off up to one ton a calendar month at no charge. You'll need your city services bill and a photo ID. The stations are open weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., and they're closed Sundays.
If you have a truck and the load is something you can handle yourself, that's a solid free option. We're the better call when you'd rather not do the loading, when the pile is up a flight of stairs or across a long backyard, or when Sunday is your only free day. We work 7 days a week, 7am to 6pm.
Phoenix Junk Removal for Rentals, Move-Outs and Big Loads
A little over 57 percent of Phoenix homes are owner-occupied, which leaves a big share of the city renting. Move-outs and turnovers run on a lease date, and a lease date doesn't wait for an open bulk appointment three business days out. Landlords and property managers book with us the same way homeowners do, and if you can't be on site, mention it when you call and we'll work out access.
For a house full of furniture, furniture removal and an estate cleanout cover it, room by room. A garage cleanout takes care of the bay you haven't parked in for years. If you're moving across town, local moving can carry what you're keeping while the rest goes in the trailer.
We sort every Phoenix load: furniture in usable shape goes to donation or resale when it can, metal, cardboard and electronics get separated for recycling, and the rest goes to licensed disposal facilities.
Getting a Phoenix Job on the Schedule
Tell us your cross streets when you call, along with what's going and where it sits. A few photos let us plan the load before we arrive, and we confirm the price on site before anything moves. Same-day pickup in Phoenix depends on what's already booked, so a day or two of notice gives you more say in the time.
The rules change at the city line, too. Glendale still collects bulk on a monthly zone calendar, and Tempe does it every other month, so if you own property in more than one city, each one has its own setup. Every city we cover is listed on the service areas page, and the full range of what we haul is on our junk removal page.

Frequently Asked Questions
A day or two helps, since we're driving in from Gilbert. If you're hoping for same-day, call in the morning and we'll tell you how the schedule looks.
Yes. The price follows how much trailer space the load fills, so a bigger pile costs more, and you'll hear the number before loading starts.
No. We carry from inside the house, the backyard, the garage or a storage unit, so nothing has to be dragged out to the street.
Yes. Fridges, freezers and window AC units go on the trailer with everything else in the job.
