Junk Removal in Scottsdale, AZ

We come out to Scottsdale from our base in Gilbert for junk removal of all kinds: the remodel debris the city leaves to you, the part of a bulk pile that missed its window, or a whole house getting cleared before a sale. Booking ahead helps for Scottsdale. You'll get the price before anything moves, and we do the lifting.

Scottsdale's Monthly Brush and Bulk Week

Scottsdale picks up brush and bulk once a month, during a Monday-to-Friday window that depends on your area. The crew comes by once and won't return for piles that go out late. Under the city's three-day rule, nothing goes out sooner than three days before the Monday of your collection week. A pile can be up to 10 feet long, 6 feet wide and 4 feet high, and green waste and bulk items need two separate piles at least 3 feet apart.

Oversize piles get 20 minutes of the crew's time. If something's still there after that, the city sends notice, and you have 72 hours to get the rest removed. That's a good moment to call us. We'll fit the leftovers in as soon as the schedule allows and take them in one go.

Scottsdale Leaves Remodel Debris to the Homeowner

The bulk crew won't take construction or remodel debris, and Scottsdale says plainly that residents or their contractor have to haul it. The same goes for fiberglass tubs, showers and insulation, and for dirt, rock, sod and concrete. City facilities also aren't drop-off points for electronics, appliances or moving boxes.

That's exactly the kind of work we're set up for. A gutted bathroom, the old cabinets and tile from a kitchen, a cracked patio slab broken into pieces: construction debris removal covers it. Heavy material like concrete changes the price, and we go over that before we start. Old TVs and monitors go with electronics disposal, the washer and fridge with appliance removal, and the flattened boxes from a move can ride along on the same trailer.

The Scottsdale Residential Landfill Program

Scottsdale residential customers can haul up to 2,000 pounds of trash, brush or bulk to the Salt River Landfill once per calendar week, Monday through Saturday. The landfill is owned and operated by the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community. You'll need the top of your utility bill and a driver's license with a matching address, and the vehicle has to be a three-quarter ton or smaller. Anything over the limit is billed by the ton, and appliances with Freon carry a charge unless you bring a receipt showing the Freon was removed.

If you've got the truck and the time, that weekly allowance goes a long way. We're there for the loads that don't fit it neatly: the fridge without a Freon receipt, a cleanout spread across three rooms and a backyard, or a week when nobody has a free morning to make the drive and do the unloading.

Scottsdale's Planned Communities, From the 1970s On

Scottsdale incorporated in 1951 with about 2,000 people. Its master-planned communities started in the early 1970s with McCormick Ranch, followed by Scottsdale Ranch, Gainey Ranch, McDowell Mountain Ranch, Desert Mountain and DC Ranch, which was still a working cattle ranch through the 1950s. Planned communities usually come with an HOA, and an HOA usually has opinions about piles in the driveway. When yours does, we carry straight from the garage or the casita to the trailer.

Households here run small. The city averages about two people per home, and more than a quarter of residents are 65 or older. That points to a lot of downsizing, from a big family house to something easier to keep up, and to estates being settled. An estate cleanout clears the whole house with care, and furniture removal handles the pieces that won't fit in the next place.

Booking Scottsdale Junk Removal From Gilbert

Give us a little notice for Scottsdale and you'll get a better pick of times. Send photos with your call or the form so we can plan the load, and we'll confirm the price on site before anything moves. Then we carry it out, load it, and sweep the spot where it sat. We sort every load afterward, so usable pieces can head to donation or resale and metal and electronics get recycled.

Next door, Fountain Hills runs bulk through the Town's contractor, one collection day per zone, and Paradise Valley doesn't collect trash at all, since residents there hire private haulers. If you own property in either, the setup is different, and we cover both. The full list is on our service areas page, and everything we haul is on junk removal.
