Terms of Service
These terms cover the junk removal and local moving work Double Eagle Junk Removal ("we," "us," "our") does for homes and businesses in Gilbert and across the Phoenix metro, and your use of this website. When you ask for an estimate, book a pickup, or use this site, you agree to them. If a written or texted quote for your job says something different from these terms, the quote controls for that job.
What We Do
We haul junk away from homes and businesses with a truck and a trailer, and we help with local moves. That covers the jobs described on our junk removal services page, from furniture and appliances to yard waste and cleanouts. Nothing on this website is an offer to do work at a particular price or on a particular date. The estimate we give you for your job is what describes the work.
Estimates and Pricing
Estimates are free. Our price is based on how much space your load takes up in the trailer, not on a flat fee per item, and we give you the price before any work starts. Weight (concrete and dirt are heavy), access such as stairs or a long carry, and disposal requirements can affect the price, which is why we look at the job first. If the load turns out to be very different from what we saw or were told, we will say so before we continue and agree on any change with you. Payment terms are covered when we give you the quote, before any work starts.
Scheduling and Access
We are open 7 days a week. Same-day or next-day pickup is possible when the schedule allows, and it depends on the size of the job and what is already booked, so it is never a promise. To do the work we need a way to reach the items: someone home, a gate code, an unlocked garage or storage unit, or another arrangement you and we agree on. Tell us before we arrive about stairs, tight access, pets, alarms and anything that must stay where it is. If we cannot get to the items at the scheduled time, we will call you before treating the visit as a cancellation.
What We Do Not Haul
We do not take hazardous materials, paint, chemicals, asbestos, tires or medical waste. If something like that is mixed into a pile, we will leave it and tell you. You are responsible for telling us what is in the load, and for removing anything you do not want taken before we start.
Ownership of What We Remove
By asking us to remove items, you confirm that you own them or have the right to have them removed. Once we load an item, it is ours to dispose of. Where an item is in good enough shape and we can do it, it may go to donation or resale, and recyclable material is separated. Not everything can be donated. Please take out cash, jewelry, documents, medication and anything personal before we arrive. We are not responsible for valuables left in items we are asked to remove.
Our Work and Your Property
We are licensed and insured. We do the lifting and loading, and we sweep up the spot where the junk sat. If something is damaged during the job, tell us right away, ideally before we leave, so we can look at it together. We are not responsible for wear, damage or conditions that were there before we arrived, or for conditions we were not told about, such as a hot tub that is still hard-wired or an appliance that was not emptied.
Using This Website
This website explains what we do and how to reach us. You can send us a message through the form on the contact page. The form has spam protection, so a message that looks like spam may be filtered out before it reaches us, and email can fail, so if you have not heard back, call (480) 202-7195. How we handle what you send is explained in our privacy policy. We do not sell anything online: the site has no shopping cart, checkout or customer accounts. You agree not to try to break into, overload or interfere with this site, copy it in bulk with automated tools, or use it for anything unlawful. The text, photos and logo on this site belong to Double Eagle Junk Removal or are used with permission, and you may not republish them without our written permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent Arizona law allows, our liability for any claim arising out of our work or this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the job the claim relates to. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing takes away rights you have under Arizona consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Governing Law and Arbitration
These terms and every agreement with us are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
If a dispute comes up, call us first. Most problems are fixed with a conversation. If we cannot resolve it that way, you and Double Eagle agree that the dispute will be settled by binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, before a single neutral arbitrator, rather than in court, and each of us gives up the right to a jury trial. Either party may instead bring a claim in small claims court if it qualifies. The arbitrator's decision is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.
You and Double Eagle agree to bring claims only as individuals, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action, and the arbitrator may not combine one person's claims with another's or preside over any form of class proceeding. If this class action waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim will be decided in court and not in arbitration.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these terms by posting a new version on this page with a new "last updated" date. The terms that apply to a job are the ones in effect when you booked it.
