We come out to Glendale from our base in Gilbert for junk removal, and booking ahead helps us plan the drive across the Valley. We carry everything from wherever it sits, price it by how much room it takes in the trailer, and you hear that price before anything moves.
Glendale's Monthly Bulk Trash Window
Glendale picks up bulk trash once a month by zone. Your pile can go out no earlier than the Thursday before your week, and it has to be out by 6 a.m. that Monday. It sits within 4 feet of the sidewalk edge, neat and parallel to the street, no more than 6 feet high, and 2 feet clear of meters and hydrants. Limbs have to be cut to 4 feet.
The city is strict about timing. A pile that goes out early, goes out late or lands in the wrong spot gets a fine added to your utility bill. An on-call special pickup is available outside your week, charged starting with the first half hour.
Glendale Bulk Moved Out of the Alleys
Starting January 1, 2022, Glendale moved trash and bulk collection out of many alleys to the street in front of homes. If your bulk used to go out the back gate, it now has to come all the way around the house to the front. For a backyard full of branches or an old swing set, that's a long carry.
We make that carry for you. Leave it in the backyard, the side yard or the garage, and we bring it out to the trailer. Yard waste removal covers the branches and palm fronds, and a garage cleanout handles the rest of what's been stacking up.
The bulk program also turns away soil, rock, gravel, concrete, bricks, drywall, tile, whole tree trunks and stumps, and Styrofoam, and each appliance with Freon carries a fee. Gravel, broken concrete, drywall and tile go with construction debris removal, and the dead fridge goes through appliance removal.
Catlin Court and Glendale's Older Homes
Catlin Court was platted in 1915, and the Catlin Court Historic District went on the National Register in 1992. Many of the homes there were built in the 1930s with FHA-insured loans, and nearby Floralcroft was platted in 1928. Houses that old have been through a lot of owners, and the sheds, garages and spare rooms often hold a little from each one. Clearing one out for a sale or after a parent passes is an estate cleanout, and we take care with the doorframes and floors on the way out.
Glendale's Free Monthly Landfill Trip
Glendale residents can take up to a ton to the city landfill for free once a month with a city utility bill and a driver's license, and the landfill recycles electronics at no charge. If you have a truck and some help, that's a good deal. When you don't, or the TV is too heavy to lift alone, electronics disposal and the rest of the load come with us in one trip.
Booking Glendale Junk Removal From Gilbert
Give us a day or two of notice for Glendale, along with your cross streets, what's going and a few photos. We confirm the price on site before we load, and we sweep the spot when we're done. What we haul gets sorted, with usable pieces going to donation or resale and metal and electronics going to recycling.
On the way out from Gilbert, we drive through Phoenix, where bulk trash now runs by appointment only. The full list of cities is on our service areas page, and everything we haul is on junk removal.
